Katie O'Neil
Katie brings extensive recruitment experience, having led talent acquisition efforts before and after two major tech acquisitions while based in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Through these experiences, she developed a strong understanding of scaling teams in high-growth environments, building recruitment functions, supporting organizational change, and attracting talent in highly competitive markets.
Her career has also included roles with one of the world’s largest recruitment firms, where she managed a full 360 desk focused on administrative and industrial staffing in Calgary, served as an internal recruiter supporting Western Canada, and worked as a resource manager within the technology division in Halifax. These experiences gave Katie broad exposure across industries, functions, and markets, while strengthening her ability to build relationships and identify the right talent for a wide range of organizations.
Over the years, Katie has built an exceptional network that spans Atlantic Canada and beyond. She has personally recruited and supported countless professionals across a variety of sectors, with a particular passion for helping organizations find strong go-to-market talent and key leadership hires. She is known for her ability to connect with candidates, understand business needs quickly, and build thoughtful, long-term recruitment strategies that support growth.
Katie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary's University. Her combination of hands-on recruitment expertise, business acumen, and strategic perspective makes her a trusted partner for organizations looking to strengthen their teams and position themselves for future success.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, and loves exploring local restaurants with friends over a great meal and a glass of wine.
