JMC began in 2016 with a simple belief: organizations are stronger when their people are supported, valued, and set up to succeed.
Founded by Jennifer Murray, JMC started as a small, locally rooted HR consulting firm with a big vision for doing things differently. The goal was to provide organizations with practical, personalized HR support while building genuine relationships along the way. No one-size-fits-all solutions. No unnecessary complexity. Just thoughtful advice grounded in each client’s people, culture, and goals.
Since then, JMC has grown into a full-service HR consulting and recruitment firm serving organizations throughout Atlantic Canada and beyond. Our team brings expertise across recruitment, compensation, organizational development, workplace policies, leadership development, training, and strategic HR advisory services. While our capabilities have expanded, our approach has remained personal, collaborative, and refreshingly practical.
We have had the privilege of working alongside organizations of every size and at every stage of growth, from small businesses and community organizations to established employers navigating complex change.
