Chantal Shaw
Chantal joined the JMC team in 2025 following 4 years of full cycle Talent Acquisition at one of Canada’s largest transportation companies – a large portion of which was focused on leader the recruitment team and operations for Canada and the United States. Before she found her passion for recruitment, Chantal spent a number of years as a paralegal in a fast based law firm which has support her in many areas of her career today.
She has a passion for finding top talent and matching them to their dream careers as well as the thrill of finding that needle in the haystack for her clients. Chantal thrives on building lasting relationships with her clients and candidates to ensure everyone has a positive and meaningful experience in an often stressful circumstance.
Chantal’s education background began with a Bachelor’s Degree from Mount Allison University and more recently a certificate in Human Resources Management where she was awarded the Award of Excellence by her professors and peers for being a breeze to collaborate with, always up for tough problem solving, and having a natural eye for HR as a chosen career path. She hopes to achieve her CPHR in the near future as well!
Off the clock, Chantal’s biggest achievement is her family comprised of her husband, 2 young children, and Border Collie, Kody. She loves spending time with them outside gardening, doing yoga, and “latties” (pilates as said by my 4 year old). You may find them camping and catching rays in the sun at the playground all summer!
