TINA WEDGE
Tina Wedge notices the details other people miss, whether it is a number that does not quite add up, a better way to tell a story, or a particularly impressive patch of moss on a forest floor.
Since joining JMC in 2023, Tina has brought creativity, curiosity, and an honest, grounding presence to the team. Her work sits at the intersection of people, data, and communication, supporting JMC’s compensation consulting, social media, employer branding, and creative initiatives behind the scenes.
On the compensation side, Tina supports market research, salary benchmarking, data collection, and compensation analysis for clients across Atlantic Canada. Her careful, organized approach helps JMC develop accurate and meaningful recommendations related to salary structures, pay grids, internal equity, and competitive compensation practices. She enjoys the process of gathering information, finding patterns, and helping turn complex data into something clients can understand and use.
Tina also brings JMC’s personality to life through social media and digital content. With a strong creative instinct and a natural eye for what will connect with people, she helps share the stories behind JMC’s team, services, clients, and community. Her work supports JMC’s online presence while making sure the firm always sounds and feels like itself: professional, approachable, knowledgeable, and never overly corporate.
Before joining JMC, Tina spent 14 years as an entrepreneur, managing her own esthetics salon and beverage company. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of the realities of running a business, building relationships, serving customers, and figuring things out as you go. She later returned to school as an adult learner and graduated with honours from NBCC’s Human Resources Management program.
That transition inspired Tina’s passion for helping students and graduates move from education into meaningful employment. She played an instrumental role in developing ReadyMe, JMC’s digital career readiness platform, helping emerging professionals approach the job search with greater confidence, direction, and practical support.
Tina also holds degrees in Criminology and Social Work from St. Thomas University, giving her a unique perspective on human behaviour, relationships, and the systems that shape people’s experiences.
Outside JMC, Tina is happiest outdoors with her family. After spending six months backpacking through Central America, she is always open to an adventure, but she is just as content exploring closer to home, surrounded by plants, trees, and enough moss to stop and admire along the way.
