Since joining JMC in 2022, Lauren has become the team’s go-to expert for compensation strategy and analysis. She works with municipalities, Indigenous communities, non-profit organizations, associations, and private businesses to build compensation programs that are fair, competitive, transparent, and sustainable.

Lauren supports clients through every stage of the compensation process, from defining an organization’s compensation philosophy and selecting meaningful market comparators to conducting salary benchmarking, internal equity reviews, and custom market compensation studies. She also develops salary structures and pay grids, reviews performance-based compensation models, and helps leadership teams understand what the data means for their organization.

Her real strength is making a highly technical subject feel manageable. Lauren can take pages of market data, competing internal priorities, and complex organizational structures and turn them into clear findings and practical recommendations. She understands that compensation is about more than numbers. Outside JMC, Lauren lives in Fredericton with her partner and their three young boys, including twins. Life at home is rarely quiet, but Lauren would not have it any other way. She enjoys cooking, spending time with her family, and finding small opportunities to recharge between work, family adventures, and keeping up with three busy little people.
