Drew Estabrooks

Drew Estabrooks is the person you want in your corner when the HR pieces need to make sense, work together, and actually be useful.

Since joining JMC in 2022, Drew has become deeply involved in the HR foundations side of the business, helping organizations build the policies, processes, and practical tools that support their people and strengthen day-to-day operations. Her work spans HR policy development, employee handbooks, employment contracts, job descriptions, performance management, organizational reviews, onboarding programs, and strategic HR guidance.

Drew has a knack for taking complicated information and turning it into something clear, approachable, and easy to put into practice. She understands that a strong HR foundation is not about creating paperwork for the sake of it. It is about giving leaders the confidence to make consistent decisions and ensuring employees understand what is expected, what support is available, and how the organization operates.

Much of Drew’s consulting work has involved supporting Indigenous communities across Atlantic Canada. She approaches each engagement with care, curiosity, and respect, taking the time to understand the organization’s culture, priorities, and community context. Her goal is never to deliver something generic. She works closely with clients to develop HR practices that reflect who they are while supporting compliance, consistency, and long-term organizational success.

Drew is also closely involved in JMC’s recruitment practice, supporting everything from job posting development and candidate sourcing to interviews and selection. She brings a strong instinct for both people and language, helping organizations tell their story, reach the right candidates, and make thoughtful hiring decisions. Behind the scenes, she also plays a significant role in developing JMC’s proposals, translating a client’s needs into a clear and compelling plan for moving forward.

Drew holds an Advanced Diploma in Human Resource Management from NBCC, where she graduated with honours, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Certificate in Disability Management from Dalhousie University. She is also a CPHR candidate.

Known for her honesty, curiosity, and ability to get things across the finish line, Drew brings equal parts thoughtfulness and momentum to her work. Outside JMC, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, preferably with a spontaneous plan, a new place to explore, or a story worth telling afterward.
