Brittany Shaw
Brittany Shaw believes the best learning experiences do more than share information. They create the kind of moment where something clicks, a new perspective takes shape, and people leave feeling ready to do things differently.
Since joining JMC in 2021, Britt has helped organizations across Atlantic Canada strengthen their people through leadership development, team building, employee engagement, career transition support, and customized workplace training. With a background in both Education and Human Resources, she knows how to turn complex ideas into engaging, practical learning experiences that resonate long after the session ends.
A certified teacher and experienced facilitator, Britt brings intention, energy, and creativity to every room she leads. She takes the time to understand the organization, its people, and what is really happening beneath the surface before designing a workshop or development program. Whether she is facilitating a leadership session, helping a team work through communication challenges, or guiding someone through a career transition, her approach is thoughtful, highly personalized, and grounded in real-world application.
Britt is a licensed Insights Discovery Practitioner and is trained to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory. She uses these evidence-based assessment tools to help individuals and teams better understand their strengths, communication preferences, working styles, and opportunities for growth. Her facilitation style makes the experience feel less like a traditional training session and more like a meaningful conversation people genuinely want to be part of.
Alongside her work in learning and development, Britt supports JMC’s recruitment practice, bringing her natural curiosity and people instincts to candidate assessment and selection. She has also played an important role in JMC’s own innovation, including helping develop its digital career transition program.
Known for her collaborative nature, big-picture thinking, and seemingly endless resourcefulness, Britt is often the person who takes a great idea and figures out how to make it even better.
Beyond JMC, Britt serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors for BGC Moncton, reflecting her commitment to youth and community impact. Outside of work, she is happiest skiing, boating, taking photographs, playing guitar, or heading out on an adventure with her husband, two children, and their dog, Beatrice.
